Disco 2 Tourqe converter

Does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have a recon tourqe converter fitted on my disco?

Or any help as to why it doesn't drive... Doesn't move and when you put it into park it makes a scraping sound. The gearbox is topped up but I need help!

Sorry I'm not very clued up on this and very inexperienced

Got in my Defender one day and it wouldn't drive, thought clutch was gone but actually someone had stolen a half shaft from the rear axle. Not that it will be that on yours but you have to check everything and sometimes it's something daft not the major problem you fear.

I'd have thought less likely for torque converter to fail catastrophically without making a big bang while you were driving along?
