The bike is now fixed, driving is not fun. Took the van out yesterday afternoon, probably not the best move but I’m going stir crazy.

After a heart bypass op, I woke up with nerve damage to my left arm. ( Took the blighters ages to find out what I knew from day one, grr ). During my recuperation, after my son scalped a grass job, leaving loads of hay on the floor, I found a trailed sweeper nearby, on Ebay. Rang up to buy it, and the fella said be here soon, I'm about to go to Belgium for a piss up! My Dad ( who was over 80 at the time ) and I got in my Transit, and I was fine with the odd numbered gears, but struggled to pull the stick back for the even ones. Long story short, we found the man, bought it, and tried  to put this huge box in the van. Our team comprised an octogenarian, a man with only one working hand, and a man with only one arm! Not exactly the A Team. 😂

Day to day it isn’t to bad, driving the van wasn’t the best idea. I’m not that bothered about not earning, I’ve only my bit of ground rent, and my belly to feed.
