Grand Designs - My New Wood Shed

Locally grown green wood, purchased and hand milled in West Cornwall by Tommer9, constructed by T9 aswell. All the hallmarks of Kevin McClouds typical fayre - disorganised sundries supplier (me), 50% over budget already etc etc!

Ha! Tis all larch and angularly perfect! Roofing, cladding and little bits to do but I'm very attached to my little store already.

The very mild roof fall is due to planning and wanting to be able to stand up inside! I should also be able to reverse into the main gate (to be) and stand in the trailer operating the splitter; well that's the plan anyway altho I'm sure the splitter will stay there sometimes.

Am using recycled corrugated for the roof, landowner will erect guttering and water storage. You can see the cladding (6" and 1" gap) on the floor in the middle. Will probably scrape the levels on the ground in the little but having the stone barn (not mine) down the right hand side saved a lot of bother and more cladding. My original structure was going to be in the corner of a field miles away and approach landscape whereas now it's about 5 mins from my house and I quite like the entrance being in a portrait orientation.

Pallets will go on the deck and split wood stored in some semblance of order - hopefully!

Anyway, will put up pics as it comes to completion. Thanks for interest and encouragement.
