I seem to be good at splitting the crotch in my chainsaw trousers. Any recommendations for a sturdy crotched pair?

I respectfully disagree RE  " baggie is best " you will always get that triangle where the force is exerted between upper thigh and crotch stitching . Get them up closer to your tackle as you can  and this is reduced .

Trouble with baggy is they (the chainsaw protection part) can get pulled round by the chain and the chain can find your flesh behind that.

Plus 1 for braces, they're heavier than normal trousers and tend to pull themselves down if only held up by a belt [ particularly if you have a fat gut ] or tools hanging on a belt, at which point when you spread your legs the crotch is put under a stress it's not designed for, simples😄
