I know a ground lad who had a pair of these, the Lite seemed to mean not very strong and they were not durable.

Thanks, that's useful to know. It's surprising how much of a beating boots get when hedge laying. More often than not hawthorn is the main species and you're treading amongst thorny off-cuts all day that leave leather boots looking like they've been strafed with a wire brush.

I have the Arbortec kayos, they are the worst boots for all round work.

 

If all you ever do is climb they might be suitable, but from someone who does a bit of everything the lasted 3 months before the tread wore out. They're a pain to get on and off and have next to no grip now.

 

I was excited for them as they looked and felt like decent boots but even with waterproofing them regularly, I have soggy socks most days!
