Harness that's kind to your crotch

I love my Tree Motion, but i have to stop quite a bit to alter the leg straps when it pinches my never regions....I have tried lot's of different way of wearing it - Loose & tight leg loops, wearing the leg loops high & low, wearing the whole harness high & low, making sure my troos are pulled up etc.

I don't think I need quite a technical harness but still, not a bog standard one.

I'm 6'4" with quite big frame if that's something to take into consideration.

The Skylotec and Treemagic look quite good, opinions?

ps. sorry about another harness thread, i'm sure you're all sick of them!

Treemajic is the same for me. Its very light, lots of loops for kit, plenty of adjustment. But every now and again it pushes your boys into your stomach!

I have had it about three months, just going through the motions of trying all adjustment options. Great harness otherwise. No pinch on the hips when using the side D's which is a big plus for me.

Harness, kind to your crotch. No such thing. haha

Best thing you can do is get to a show or a shop and try them all on, somewhere that you can hang on a rope and play around. Everyone is different. Most harnesses are designed with a certain amount of comfort and user ergonomics in mind but the sheer nature of where a harness wraps round and the positions you have to work in sometimes means that you will get "twisted" now and again. Finding the right harness for you will eleviate massivley. Try, Try and then try again. Or stop moaning and take it like a man. hahaha

Ditto Frank.

Harness threads always end up with Mr X going on about how great harness Y is, but we are all built differently and have different climbing styles, so what feels really comfy for your mate may be murder for you.

One tip is to go for a harness that doesn't adjust itself constantly, which I rate my Sequoia highly for. My old Butterfly was comfy when I started a climb but would slacken itself during work so it looked like a pair of hooers knickers when I came down.

I normally tuck the old meat and two veg away before I climb by slinging them over my shoulder.
