15 stone, 5 wraps, 2 turns. Using that balck cord with the kevlar woven through it (and i wish that i had not brought so much of it as i do not like it). Using the Marlow clibing rope.

the thing with a vt is it will always be different because of rope wear, cord di ,rope diameter and climbers wieght... i will climb on different di lines all the time this time of year due to them being wet!! so i find it varys dramaticaly the amount of wraps and braids are needed! and then there is the length of cord wich can completely change it all together! the best thing i find to do is adjust acrodingly whilst giving the groundys to run in and see how it goes untill you next need them to clear !!

11 st (70 kg) usually use 4 and 2.

Just been trying a new cord and have been struggling with it to get the wraps and length right. had it working well but forgot to check how many wraps and braids so will have to give it another go and take some mental notes!

Im about 11.5 stone using 3 wraps and 2 crossovers, if anything this setup (8mm cord on a 13mm rope) runs a bit too tight, especially when wet. I prefer that though to slipping all the time...

12stone ice hitch on yale line 4 wraps and 3 braides. got right out on a limb end and found i was falling be it very slowly so replaced with new hitch line and had to drop a wrap as was to much so i think age will have some affect on the way you tie it.
