Thoughts on Kellfri Quad Flail Mower?

I have a big old Honda quad and am thinking of getting a tow behind flail mower.  I have a lot of long grass to cut - many acres in total but varied between open areas, banks, under trees, sides of road, overgrown gardens.  for the past few years, we have been bringing in a contractor in August with a Avant 640 (small digger with a flail on the front) that cuts it over a few days.  This is fine, but the quality of cut is shocking, the grass tends to bounce back and areas get missed.  I have OCD and would like to tidy it up myself.  It is (or would be) a lot of work to tidy it up with the strimmer.

Has anyone any experience of the Kellfri flail mowers (15 - 25 HP) ?  Can they cope with long grass?  Can the quad go slow enough? Thanks

Think they all kinda come out of the same factory regardless of colour, you've also got rock machinery and a few others.

Never used a petrol one but if it's long, start high and reduce it over a few runs, tiny bites and all that.

Plus you'll even up with a really find mulch that rots quickly, even with a 2m flail running on the tractor it's best to go slow and steady.

Or get someone grazing it down and flail off the remains.

If you think the out front Avant flail leaves wheeling, wait until you’ve gone over it with the quad first! The finish will be terrible.

you need a contractor with a flail collector if you want it tidy. This is us today

Beautiful work! I'll see if anyone nearby has a flail will collector.  My concern would be the capacity of the collector and that it would fill too quickly.  How often do you find it fills?

Most things I’ve seen made by kelfri have not been the best quality metal more like cheese!

Yes I am concerned about the build quality.  The logic ones are double the price.
