I got an excited call from a mate about 30 years ago . He worked for West Dean Estate on the Corova Farms side of things . He said there is a Humming bird on the buddleia in West Dean Collage gardens ! I drove down the mile or so only to observe the moth 🙂

We've had one here a couple of times recently and saw one or two every year at the old place in Surrey.

Ceratostigma (hardy Plumbago) was the flower attracting them
