I've never been to Northumberland or Dorset, I like South Cheshire a lot, and there is a great campsite next to the canal I could pull onto. It's in the running.

Now, that's a good call. Full of weirdos, but I enjoyed staying there when I had my narrow boat. I'll look for a camp up there.
