600, I’ll do it for that and take away the saw dust!!
be cheaper for them to buy planks surely?
My milling rate is £630 a day. I don't do part days. So a couple of small sticks like that gets expensive.
Same cost to mill two 20' by 4' cedar if I can do it in a day.

I'm definitely buying a mill! £600 for a morning's work having fun....

There’s a middle ground I’d say, £350 is way too cheap for a man and woodmizer for a day, £635 is on the upper end of things but justifiable if the mill is top of the range high production  eqpt. I can think of more enjoyable things to do for a day, admittedly it does have its plus points but can also be bloody hard and frustrating graft.

I was thinking around £450 plus band charges.

I run a lot of gear as many of you know, and my reckoning is it’s good to be diverse and have a multitude of things that can make you that money as a wage each day in case more lucrative quoted jobs are short on the ground or you just fancy an easy week. Stops me getting bored.

Just need to make it the next four years so the finance is paid off 🤣
