Branch Loggers

Not sure if this is permitted, (admin please advise) My company 'Welmac' are the original importers of Branch Loggers...in fact we coined the name 'Branch Logger'

Just wanted to clarify some confusion about the various manufacturers and their machines.

We started out with the 'Urban' brand from Czech Rep. which were very good machines but expensive, we then imported machines made by Remet which were lower quality and not easy to work with as they would sell to anyone and everyone...even kit which was dangerous.

We now supply machines by Arpal who are Ukrainian, the build quality is the best we have seen, they uniquely offer a 3 year warranty, The reason they can do this is that the way it is constructed is superb. We are happy to advise forum members and take questions as they have PTO, petrol/diesel and electric variants.

I have had a TR70 and a Remet 120 from you. Both good machines IME.

Are they as good as the staged youtube videos would try and make you believe?
seems a lot to ask to just shear off a lump of 6inch + timber

Yes easy. I only have the the Remet 120 on a wee 55hp compact tractor. Our tractor stalling is our limiting factor.

This is it in action with nothing staged

Me too and no problems, the TR70 was stolen so you need to find the current villains and I hope they have found a lump of steel fencing in a branch that has knackered their machine!

Do they cope with dry seasoned timber or just green?

This guy seems to be putting some dry stuff through  ok and although I usually use fresh cut branches I cannot see why there would be any trouble.

I notice that this machine like mine has a yellow safety frame to cut out the tractor if necessary, but these machine are not like chippers which will pull you in if some loose clothing becomes caught up in a branch,  I can hold on to the branch and stop it at any point.

The Ukrainian machine does not appear to have a safety frame.
