None LOLERed rescue kit

Whenever i have had kit LOLERed, there have been one or two items that have been "ok for rescue"

 

Until now, its been on the odd carab, and perhaps a quick link, but how far can it go? Is it ok to have an out of date, and shabby harness for "rescue purposes only"?

Once "did" a bird called Lola she was ok for rescue aswell.

Why would it be unsafe to use in a work environment but then good to go in an emergency?

Your rescue kit may need to hold two men so would want adecent kit to do this....

Its should be LOLERed a treated the same as the other kits....

If they've said that to you then that's......Weird. As said above its going to be used to rescue another person surely it should be in as good condition to use as a day to day piece of kit. I would go get it LOLERed somewhere else IMO.
