Irish leg of lamb, perfectly undercooked(and eaten and enjoyed san's teeth), with venison steak pieces and venison sausages(courtsey of a local stalker that I keep in firewood)

Complemented by perfectly boiled Kerr's Pinks in the skins(and disintegrating  balls of flour in the pot), with carrot, parsnip and swede/turnip an loads of butter mash, crunchy Brussels, and Dutch/German red cabbage recipe, accompanied by vintage homemade cranberry and port confection. All quite perfect

It was, absolutely

I suppose all I was trying to say was that it does not need to be fancy, convoluted and overworked to be quite perfect.

And the "leftovers" will be eaten and enjoyed over the next few days.

With Zero waste.
