Many of us have stoves and many of us have rather large amounts of firewood too. I like a warmer than average living room - I'm sat here in shorts and a t-shirt, but under a blanket. The living room is 23c and that's perfect for me.

I answered 17 as that is what the stat is set at in all honesty. 

It's an old house and heating it warmer is a waste of fuel (LPG)

 

That said, the woodburner in the lounge easily heats us up to 20 Plus... and that warmth ensures the thermo rad valve is closed.

 

also makes all dogs and cats crash out around the fireplace.

Damn those partners from exotic locations.

For a girl who grew up without neither heating, hot running water or insulation, Mrs Lee certainly likes a 24c house.
