On to cladding today for a change and pushing the limits of my Christmas-cracker grade mill. I hope the knottage isn’t going to cause problems with its final function - it’s certainly made it harder to mill. 
Oh and merry Christmas all.

Cladding continues. The house is going to look like a ghost ship until it weathers.

Don’t know about the mill’s limits but I do know that this tree was at my limit - and nearly a bit beyond!

Phew. Got it up. I was pleased (and a bit surprised) that Fred could lift it.

Might make the steering a little lighter, and save a costly replacement
