It will not be an Echo carb, so get the make and model, all of which will be on the carb, then approach a carb distributor like Rowena motors in Wales.

Its a Zama carb, but to be honest I'm not sure out of all the numbers what I should be searching on..

As Mr Rat said, many Zama carbs use the same parts. Looks like a Zama RB kit would work for you.

Thanks for your help with this, really appreciate it! I have looked up RB-51 kits but the gaskets look different on my carb they have cut outs where the kits dont, see attached pic.  When I search on the other numbers I don't seem to get any results.

I guess if my problem is related to the metering valve and needle, perhaps I shouldnt worry too much about the gaskets fitting, as long as I get a new needle, spring etc.

Rebuild kit is RB-188. Can't find it in the UK, maybe worth contacting someone like L&S Engineers, or:

Nice thanks for that!.  Shouldn't that be rebuild kit RB-283 or am I missing something?
