Day/hourly rate

Hello people, I just wanted to get an idea of how much a qualified climber should be getting?

I've been doing trees for around 3 years now and climb almost everyday. Some

days I don’t climb and stay on the ground but this is rare. I want to know the going rates, day rates and hourly rates cheers.

Depends partly on where you’re located? Top climbers on big dismantles or tricky pruning can command higher money, good climbers are always in demand. Newly qualified or average usually less. Same with good groundies though - they can make the job go smoothly for the climber if they work as a team.

Don’t worry about what others might be earning, there are too many factors to make any meaningful comparisons.  It could be anywhere on the range £100/day to £1000/day.

There’s only 1 person that will give you the answer you seek - the person that is actually paying you.

If it’s a pay rise you seek, ask them what you would need to do to get one.

Self employed or cards in, where in the country, what kit have you got, are you up to speed with the job, loads of questions to be asked on this subject and as Kevin above as said the only person who can really answer this is who ever is paying you, i have had several dozen climbers over the years, some i have thought £50 a day was to much and others i have paid £150 and more but i would of paid more for one or two of them,
