Mobile sawmill wanted

Greetings all! I am will to pay good cash for a second hand entry level mobile trailerable sawmill  with a loading ramp and winch in good condition to start milling timber in my North Norfolk plantation. Obviously features like autolubrication, electric start would be useful but, as this would be my first with a view to upgrading later, I am willing to compromise. I do not really want to build one from scratch at this stage.

Is this your chance to upgrade and sell yours for a good cash price now?

Nope not so far; a possibility identified but the current owner, who is upgrading, is much delayed ...

With the demand for construction timber at the moment I doubt anyone is selling a decent bandsaw for a reasonable price.
As for new, there are no cheap options of any quality.
Trailered and with winch/log handling will also bump up the price by several £k at least.

Thanks you for that one suggestion and link.

Unfortunately is does not look to be a mobile trailerable sawmill  with a loading ramp and winch. These are important options for me to avoid the use of a fork-lift as another item to store and protect. The winch etc can be added but the trailer is an important item for transport and movement around the wood. I also do not want a kit of parts!

Regarding the subsequent comment; yes, now does not seem to be the best moment for prizing one free. However, as we all know, forestry is a long-term business and cycles come and go and I am in no hurry as the trees can keep growing!

It could still well be that the current demand encourages a miller to upgrade their bandsaw to meet demand and I do not mind inheriting an older model if it is well-used and looked after as a good starting point for me

So I shall keep looking and be glad to hear of any options as  have cash waiting

I have the same Mill. If it’s the B751 Pro the trailer package is really quite cheap. If it’s the basic B751 then Logosol commissioned Knott in Germany to make a trailer package for it. That’s what I have and it’s not cheap.

I think you might have to face reality and buy a new Woodlands or something similar.
