Going average hourly rate for felling only service

Hi folks

I was wondering if anyone knew what the going average hourly rate was in Northern Ireland for a tree surgeon particularly focusing on the felling element only. I appreciate that it may vary somewhat depending on the size of the tree and that the removal and chipping etc can involve a lot more of the work but wanted to check whether there was a broad or accepted standard rate?

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Is it domestic or can you just knock em over in a woodland  ?   If domestic price the job , if its commercial felling very much depends on what the spec is . Second thinnings to clear fell , flat ground , steep slope etc etc

I’m charging £60 plus vat as we speak to do this. I’d want at least half of that if there was no digger- although I would just get staff to do it if the customer thought that it would be cheaper overall without machinery!!

I think you would be better working for a day rate not sure 🤔 how you would make any money 💰 working hourly if you are good at what you do and quick not sure how it would work. And I’m not being disrespectful not sure how it would work. IMO 👍

If you are good and quick work by the ton . If not day rate .

If commercial cutting yes. I assumed this was for a large private garden or suchlike.

I asked the question of the OP at the beginning of the post . As yet no answer .
