Tis a shame some of the stuff I have ringed up over the years:thumbdown:

Would be handy if someone or a group of people willing to plank up timber for free(and then obviously keep)would post there locations and numbers.

Would be nice to turn back up to a job and find the majority of timber gone and put to good use:thumbup1:

I have been approaching other tree surgeons for years with offers of firewood prices to take sawlogs away, and almost 99% of them say yes then you never hear from them again. I understand it totally (doing tree surgery as well as milling) as for most jobs the customer just wants the tree and mess gone asap, and it isnt always convenient to get a sawyer in at the point when the timber is on the ground to have him say 'i will be back tomorrow/ next week to pick it up' etc.
