I only do it once a week for a couple of hours at most so not to have grief. As said i will get around it as i have business use on my workshop. If you look where roughy has his yard there are houses right across the road and its a commercial yard so people have to accept it.

If you're only doing it that little, try and speak to the neighbour non confrontationally and work something out; a good time perhaps. Often when stuff like this happens each side demonises the other when stuff could get resolved easily by talking. You never know you might make a new friend 😙😆

Neighbour from hell and causes havoc for a lot of people. Her husband was a really nice guy and had enough in the end and left. Tis what it is and keeping the old paper work up to date works a treat

I had no near neighbours until the farmer adjoining me decided to apply for a house build 50 metres from the front of my house.
I made a point of objecting by amongst other things siting that I was damned if I was going to have to adapt chainsaw and other noisy pastimes through having a neighbour imposed on me. It turned out that they ignored all my valid objections. Took it to the Ombudsman and it cost over 40 K to slightly mitigate the breaches in vehicular access onto the main road. Luckily my neighbours a noisy bastard too[emoji1787]

Bit like me. Lived here 28 years, completely surrounded by farmland until a few years ago when 50 houses went up in a horses field I was given the option to buy for 10k when I moved in but was strapped. One fecker complained about the cockerel crowing! I said he was here first
