Unless you are logging/ in a remote area and rely on your saws .

I like the 661,but I wouldnt want to fly into a camp even with a pair of them.

They still produce MS660s for the African and South African markets.

How often have you had to tune a saw in the woods?

Quite a few times to be quite honest.

Rebuilt them at night, robbed parts off someone's spare saw to keep my spare saw running etc.

How many logging camps/ remote jobs have you worked on?

Never been flown into a job... yet 🤣[emoji106]
Nowhere in the uk is really that remote?
I have lived in the woods with one saw for a bit.
Can understand the mistrust of auto tune, but in my experience it’s bloody fantastic.

Where were you working?
(Sounds fun)

I worked in Northern BC  felling old growth for a Summer.

Then I did three seasons in Alaska,we would sometimes fly out to ,or between jobs at fish camps/cabin sites, radio masts etc.You couldn't just pop back into the saw shop when you are 200 air miles from town.

The Mtronic is great until you have to deal with the "non serviceable parts" or it lean's the mixture out to the point that the saw seizes etc.I saw that guys were putting MS660  carbs on 661s in New Zealand.
