I have two types . The cork screw is way quicker but the hydraulic one will split any thing either end . DSCF0014.jpg.a08d6928c2c2b9d02c611d6aa9f7c6cd.jpgDSCF0011.jpg.1a5b21d3352fac204c30139d63b136dc.jpg

What splitter is the hydraulic one, Stubby? I like the two way splitting, and it looks beefy. What's the tonnage?

Its was written as 22T in the blurb but who knows as its basically a Chinesium splitter that I have modified to road tow  .  You can put a round on each end so that your return stroke  is not wasted . I modded it to one handed as well .

Thanks. Sounds good, any idea where you got it? And what it cost?

Sorry , can't remember . Had it for yonks . Changed the engine once ! I do remember it came in bits on a pallet and I had to build it up .

Did that screw splitter come from a company in Ireland?

Yes , it did . I have had to up the power with more torque because the original engine would stall on anything slightly gnarly .
