I do my best! 088 with 3ft bar for felling, but I started the face cut with an 066. Then I put the 4 foot bar on for ringing.

 

 

Second pic is decay where a branch was removed in 1952 by the owner.

Was that central decay evident on the face of the gob?

I'm glad I didn't recomend it, but how long would you leave a tree that size leanign towards a listed building? Apparently the lean had increased recently.

 

Anyway not much evident fronm the face cut.

Reduction in weight from the lean direction to say the least! This mite have carryed on for many yrs if the client had so wished! Who says £ don't grow on trees! ;) let alone our very existance..Was their a fungi presant that is not shown?
