So if you had climbed right to the top limb to limb, then tied in, in the traditional fashion espoused by those who wont use an anchor point unless they can see it close up, you would have fallen from the top of the tree.

Glad to hear your alright, bet your ground crew were fairly startled to see you descend so quickly.
