It may be that I'm getting old, but I can't figure out the young generation, and the lads who work for me are good 'uns.

 

Keep banging on about how tight money is, hint hint, and then proceed to drop at least a tenner a day on crap garage sarnies, Ginsters, Red Bull, and all manner of shite.

 

What happened to making up your butties the night before? And boiling a kettle for a flask in the morning?

 

Am I just a cynical old man living in the dark ages?

 

Mind, I can still out-climb all you youngsters, blah blah blah. Life in the old dog yet etc....

 

And I've still got nearly all me own teeth....

its the same with me, the lad who works for me has 3 cans of monster before 9am, moans about money and smokes 10 lambert and butler. young, dumb and full of come..

At what age are you no longer a young'un then ? because I feel the same as you about the waste of money in the garage on lunch but I don't consider myself old

im only 17 i climb everyday i work, from reductions to big (for me) dismantles, i dont moan about my wage, i dont moan about being skint and i only make sarnies the night before if i've got no money, but i dont drink energy drinks, just water and tea when at work, and th odd can of pop,nd i dont smoke :001_smile:

And a Geordie to boot. If you look deep, deep into history, I think you won't find one example of a Geordie spending an unnecessary pound! :001_tt2:

Its the same here mate. And they go out thurs fri and sat! Then have absolutely no money for essentials. Tenner a day in the garage is nearly £2000 a year for a five day week!!!
