Ok Shaun, this is for free..

Take off the yellow wire from the starter motor solenoid and check for 12volts between this wire and earth when you turn the ignition key to the start position.

If you have this voltage, peel back the rubber boots from the two large connectors on the red leads on the solenoid and carefully bridge these together with a short length of electrical wire.

If it now cranks then the solenoid us faulty...if it still won't crank then the starter motor is faulty.

I think we have had solenoid failures in the past..

I hope this helps....

Jase.

Cheers Jase, will give those a go when I get back

Wow, didn't expect that....
Just done the ARBshow and was overwhelmed with the response to the Peruzzo TB100 tracked chipper....
Needless to say there might be a few second hand Greenmech CS100's coming up for sale.

Many thanks to everyone who visited and listened to my sales pitch....

The fact that the unit is only 650mm wide was well received and also that the unit is fitted with a centrifugal clutch so the engine doesn't stall if there's a blockage.
The other great point was the removable cassette drum for blade changing proves that this is a very unique machine.

Anyway onwards and upwards.
