Give the helmet a go/ a few weeks before you upgrade the headset Sam! I've been using mine since April and haven't had an issue with the headset. I'd be sad to loose the fact it folds away. When you're tidying up and doing silky pruning flipping the headset back out the way is a treat. 

I've also not yet had my earmuffs come off 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah unless you are able to never touch anything with the visor and clean it super carefully and keep it in a fluffy bag they are useless after a couple of days. Mesh visor for the big chunks, safety glasses or inbuilt ones for the smaller bits and blower dust!

Put it on the inside to reduce scratches and if you remember to remove the protective film clear viz
