Any feed back on the advert?

Are there really no climbers out there, nobody that wants to try for a better position or a better wage than they are currently on?

You will have need to have good communication skills?

Sounds like a good deal, but there is a massive lack of tradesmen, whatever trade.

I'm a freelancer, the firms I work for are crying out for lads in the same wage bracket... Zero interest.

I appreciate the feedback, I was beginning to wonder.

I guess its not surprising given the lack of apprenticeships being offered and the ever increasing complications on actually doing the job.

It makes me wonder what our industry will become. Situations like this isn't good news for the industry. It will push the price up and open the door to unqualified, unskilled, uninsured poor tree work.

As a business I feel let down by the Arb Association, they haven't supported the Colleges in the issues surrounding the apprenticeships, and I haven't found any evidence of them promoting our trade to anyone other than to tree surgeons.

We've become a country of self employed, wether that be our own work, freelancing or subbing. We all know there is more money in it for us, I work this way because I don't want to turn out for the same firm 5 days a week. Have you tried contracting in labour?

Advert is good, all the right stuff with no nonsense.

Had a look at your website, it's very nice. I like the little logos for all the services you do. Very clear layout and nice details.

When i get qualified i'll give you a call if you're still looking for people. By that time i'll have all my own kit too. So far been relatively unsuccessful in job hunting.

Sounds perfect to me. 👌🏻

(But then, i want to live in the French Alps surrounded by snow and mountains.)
