i was going to put up a couple of pictures of spoons i've done but after seeing yours ian i won't bother:blushing:

got myself the short straight (sharp) one, but how do you use the bendy one? can't quite get the technique right so all i whittle is shrooms:blush: coz i can do them with the straight knife alone!

First thing I made was a sycy cooking spatula.

This was from a beech shard, a sort of grandfather ancestral totem thing about 8" long. not a great photo though.

A few years back I came across a guy online who made a wooden case to protect the blade of his hook/spoon knife. It was really simple, oval as I remember. Well to get to the point, I can't find it now but I found this whilst trawling for the other one.
