I've recently seen this bit of kit online and it does appear to look quite effective and safe. Has anyone used one, or had a go at constructing something similar (otherwise order from Australia)

Thats kinda cool and must be very handy for Fencers.

I looked at those myself Phil.

 I wouldn’t want to cut some accurate chestnut posts for triple rail with it though.

Had a local engineering firm make this up for me, it works great and will last a lifetime.

No I can see that for chestnut post and rail you could only use it for the vertical slots (or use a very narrow tip bar for horizontals), so fair comment Dave. What you have there is probably a lot more suitable

I've used a Makita chain mortiser for timber framing which works well, they to a tenon one to which looks impressive.
