I want to try out some Ocean polyester or bee line. Been on the AP for a while now and still seem to spend half my life mucking about with my knot. Want to give the 10mm a try aswell, but need some spliced eyes because knots will be to bulky for the HC.

Knots in 10mm cord are not to bulky for the hitch climber. I use 10mm sampson prusik cord and really rate it. Its really cheap and lasts forever. Comes out really nice in the wash. It also makes a realy nice footlock prusik.

Im thinking off getting some cord from the UK that is not avaible in NZ

Whats Liros herculeas 8mm and Teufelberger Sirius 8mm like??

I use tachyon

What else would you recommend?

Thanks

I like them both and will climb on what ever i pull out the bag first but those two are my favourite....the therma shield is growing on me but gave my last length away as i still prefere the sirius and liros over it.

Tried some AP (cheers marK!}thats nice would probably stick with it over the above as it seems a lot more grippy and supple and is every thing you would want from hitch cord...but as we all Know its not available here!
