I have the same model as steve posted but a 3 phase version.I bought a titan TTB579PLN 204mm  from screwfix about 2 years ago and its come down in price now around £160 and to be honest its not used a lot but finish is excellent on oak.Only thing that seems to go is the drive belts but i would buy another in a shot.

Just wondering whether the original poster brought a planer in the end? I'm on the look out for something similar and was just looking for a few opinions!

That should get you a decent machine. Look on the bay and gumtree first for a good second hand oneas you may pickup a bargain.

Thanks, any makes/models i should be looking out for?
