Docklands Light Railway is driverless, the attendant just opens and closes doors, I've not been on it as I preferred to walk from Waterloo to Canary wharf.

Not even an attendant.
All automatic, has been for many years.
Unfortunately locals have discovered throwing each other in front of it as there’s no driver to brake in that situation.
(I lived in London for years, this was fairly regular)
But it’s great if you get a front seat on a nice day, amazing views.

pretty sure i heard on the news today that road tax revenue is down massively due to low tax rates for new efficent cars so they are looking into ways to claw it back.

That derogation pisses me off, if it OK for "alternatively fuelled" vehicles to run at 4.25t it is simply safe to run at 4.25 tonne regardless of the fuel type.

It actually makes sense.

It levels the payload you can carry to comparable to an ICE van & you have to take training (but no test) similar to taking a C1 course.
