Hey all, 

Having a bit of a moment and I'm struggling to ID this tree. Part of what is throwing me off is that the site does contain some fairly unusual trees so I've got it in my head this is also something obscure, although there is every chance it isn't!

I'll be interested with this one. The cones look Spruce like but the leaf formations and tree appearance is Cedar to me... Just not sure what specific type

this is exactly the thought process I've been going through haha

I cut a deodar down once, when I went to look at it first I tried to find cones to identify it and the owners told me there were none. Once we'd knocked all the branches off there were cones everywhere, they didn't look like those ones.

Lebanon are usually wider with sweeping layers no? At this point I think we can say that these cones aren't from this tree?
