There are walnuts for oil, usually smaller, and walnuts for eating, usually bigger.

No actually Khriss they Lavant village / South Downs National Park resident rooks . They do it every year mate . ☺️

Found some walnuts in garden working in today they were from neighbours tree they are massive, 
Photo is 1 next to large egg, anyone else seen ones this size.

My son works on grounds maintenance for LA and said one of his colleagues came back from another site with a bag of em the size of large grapefruit (still in husk obvs!) I’d presume nuts were similar size inside?

When I first saw it with husk on didn't look like walnut as so big.
