Nah keep those so-and-sos well out of it.......we had someone go through a hedge and i charged him £1500 or i would call the police.....he was back in 30 mins with the cash......use them as a threat to get more money, its a better deterrent than they will give him i reckon.:blushing:

Is that extortion or blackmail? I always get those two muddled up!

When i first had my landrover someone had put there car in the ditch down the lane by my house. He was obviolsy drunk at the time becasue he was fast asleep at the wheel in the morning when i found him there.

I thought he was dead at first, anyway i told him it would cost him 20quid and i warned him that id proberly rip his bumper off, he was ok with that. So i made sure i ripped the bumper off :thumbup:

Was this you then?:lol::lol:

I cant remember where I head this but a durnk driver was stopped on a hard shoulder sleeping and had been reported, police & Fire brigade turn up and driver says he has neck problems (trying to get out of drunk driving) Firemen cotton on to this and say to man the roof has to come off car to get him out. (Verry expensive Merc) Man says hes ok, Firemen say no and take his roof off.

Drunk driver = no insurance , roof off car ........Haha.

I've pulled a few people out of snow banks over here.........I just make 'em sign a waiver first. 'If in the process of me recovering your vehicle, I happen to damage/pull part of your vehicle off, tough $hit, you can't come after me for damages'. Some old dear in a Merc gave me a 'Benjamin Franklin' a couple of weeks ago after I got her back on the road (during that storm that covered Long Island in 26" of snow, she had reversed outta her drive and into a shallow ditch).......she was so thankful. And when she heard my Brit accent, I got her life story and how much she loves the Queen, but hates Camilla.
