Hello everybody.

Could someone with a TW13/75 please send me a picture of the blades and set up, looking down the feed chute. I've had one on hire today and it was a load of rubbish. First time I've hired one and it didnt perform like any of the videos I watched. Had to force each piece in before it would chip. Clogged up loads. Chips more like shreds. I'm thinking it was missing its anvil.

Thanks

I hired one once, only once. Pretty much exactly as you described, tried to use it on a couple of jobs and gave up. Did manage to chip some yew fed in backwards, then realized what a disadvantage it is that the spout is so low.

The one I hired had an anvil gap of about 1/4 of an inch, the back plate seemed bent away from the blades to me.

I've just checked the blades and the anvil before it gets picked up. Blunt and blunt and the gap between is massive. What a waste of a day.

Mason Woodchippers is close to me so I'll hire from him next time as I know the machine will be perfect. Had to get this one from Brandon Hire because they deliver as my van needs a new engine! They will be getting a sharp email.

Thanks

... Do they ? Love a bit of liver, can't get it round here.

They also do shit stump grinders. Went to pick up a wee one cos garden gates. Looked at the little disc blade - blunt as my arse , fitter sez " oh thats ok"  I said " no way - new blade disc on that or it stays in the shop"

New disc in box suddenly appears  ( big maple stump and it certainly finished job right)
