Well....there's quite a number of decent backpack blowers out there! Where do we start? How are you defining decent??

Are you a stihl or husky fan to start with maybe?

What typical job size?

What's your budget?

Etc etc....

It's a bit like ...can anyone recommend a decent chainsaw?....??

Haha it's not even as technical as that and just a backpack for your daily things like a jacket, lunch, flask etc rather than a kit bag for gear for now.

I like the savotta stuff. Not cheap but bombproof.

Id go for a soft pack over something thats framed because arborists are rough on gear, and once you bend or break a frame the packs an utter ass to use.

 

A caving or canyoning pack is tough, simple to clean, keeps water out and has quite a bit of room and can be stuffed into places or roped in to an overpacked truck

Da Kine snowboarding rucksacks are tough as nails, comfy to carry and a good size. I have had mine for 25 years and it is still going strong. I use it for everything and it just never gives up.
