PTO stump grinder advice

Hi All

 

I am considering buying a PTO stump grinder and have been looking at a Miller 150 which is

missing what I believe is a slip clutch joining the two pto shafts.

Is this a decent machine for 115 hp tractor and can you still get parts ?

Any advice appreciated.

Interesting machine.

I am sure you could always fit a suitable slip clutch for an agri machine to the drive-line.

Any more pics?

More likely a wide angled joint to allow for the sideways swing rather than a slip clutch.

I am not familiar with the machine though.

Yes I would expect a slip clutch to be at either end rather than the middle

Thanks for the replies so far.

I've found a picture of an original machine and I think it appears to be a bearing mounted in middle.

If I could locate was an off the shelf bearing that fitted it would be a bit help.

Can't help with the bearing but looking forward to seeing a video of it once it's working again

Most likely an off the shelf thing, get down to your local ag machine supplier with the pic.

Take a cardboard template with you for bracket size/opening and bolt positions
