Magnificent! How did you connect drive to the pump? Any videos of it in action?
I stripped the gearbox other than the input shaft, I then got an adapter made that screws into the back of the input shaft.
Then used a coupler for an electric motor.

I'll get a decent video when I've set the pressure properly IMG_20200723_125006.jpegIMG_20200717_132225.jpegreceived_942604279501447.jpegreceived_193842751687674.jpeg

Does the splitter make the engine work at all or is it just ticking over?

Its fine on easy splitting stuff like Sycamore and soft wood but if you get an ugly lump of knotty Elm it can stall . More torque and it would just chew on .

Never mind if it works, I'm just in awe of any machine that has a beer barrel, and an ammunition box! ?

Use what you have to hand great stuff.

What's the cycle speed like.

Bulit a power pack last year to run splitter got to give it a good try on my Riko 25t last week even on that it is quicker then tractor.

It's about 4.5 seconds going down, less going up.
Going to try adjusting the speed to find the sweet spot
