  1. It's running the factory ecu, deimmobilised and remapped to increase the idle
  2. Looks like it's going to be a stump grinder instead
  3. It's about 4.5 seconds going down, less going up. Going to try adjusting the speed to find the sweet spot
  4. I've got it running at 1300 rpm just to get the flow. Never sounds laboured and I've done 8 hours on it so far and it's not used 5 litres of fuel
  5. I stripped the gearbox other than the input shaft, I then got an adapter made that screws into the back of the input shaft. Then used a coupler for an electric motor. I'll get a decent video when I've set the pressure properly
  6. Fancied building a power pack for my log splitter to free up the tractor. Didn't fancy shelling out for a Honda engine so took the 2 litre bmw diesel from a Rover 75. Engine cost me £30 all in and I've still got the rover to weigh in.
  7. Cheers flywheel key has sheared. Hadn't thought to check that as it's never happened to me before. Something to add to the list of experience!
  8. Hi folks, Having a look at a chainsaw for a mate. They had it stored upside down and afterwards couldn't start it. They changed the spark plug and let the cylinder dry out as it was flooded. Still won't start, it seems to flood very quickly also. It's just had a fresh carburettor and has the same symptoms. Fresh fuel doesn't change anything. It does have a spark. Anywhere else I can be looking? Thanks
