mog steering problems

treequip took the steering box off . just waiting for parts .

Steering box removed, refurbished and re fitted,.......in the rain, slush and snow.

What sort of cost is involved in refurbish a SB??

 

Are they as good as new after??

It cost £320.00 for a refurb. That gets you a full set of internals and seals in your casing. I have used this firm before, they are quick and we have never had a bad one yet.

 

They had a minor delay waiting for a seal so it took 48 hours rather than the usual 24.

whilst your chatting about zf steering systems which mog & most commercials use, there is an oil filter located in the top of the resevoir, bayonet fitting, changing this regularly helps with sticking valves etc,, cheers
