Chipper blade snapped

Not put a tow hitch on back of Heizo and blart it into a rear trailer?  I thought of it using one , years ago . K

Can't tow a double rig like that on the road so still need two tractors to get everything too and from site, we just do this as can fill trailer in less than 30min on brash and in 15 on timber so to hitch up and then swap back the trailer would take too long.

He dont mind - this is interesting.  Yup. Could not road tow two trailers. Our site was nice n flat an we were handballing stuff in ( log slices) still did 60 ton a day. K

Has this happened to anyone else just trying to work out why it happened. Nothing was put through it apart from an ash log when it happened

 Its an engineering rule of thumb that a hole must be at least half its diameter away from the edge or corner. That aint it  - right   there. K

Those holes do look way to close to the edge.

They dont look too close  - they Are too close. I would like to put my vernier on those. We have a Forst in the yard, so will (  when i get time) get blades off fitter.  K
