Its like a giant pair of pincers thats operated by a crane or excavator, for breaking down large diameter timber, so it will go through a chipper.

Here is a link to the one we have. We have it attached to a 16 tonne excavator. We used to have it on a rotovator but snapped this in half so now have it attached to the quick hitch. It's out on hire at the moment!!

i dont have either of those machines anymore viki but it wasnt that great on the rotator, too much movement and not enough force when trying to run the cracker through the timber, i used to jam a big log across the back wheels to keep it in place, but on a 360 would defo be better

When we shear it up I will take some pics or a video to show you. It should be back with us sometime next week all being well.
