Monolith with Coronets

On the frontage to a nice country hotel next to main walkway from the main road;

top marks for doing a monolith.....however think maybe a couple of coronets would have sufficed mixed with some rip cuts perhaps for a more natural look to it?

 

We do alot of monoliths in Richmond pk and tend to mix it up a little.

At least your client wanted a monolith.

 

Unlike one of my recent clients, who asked when we were coming back to fell the trunks?

 

I pointed out that we had finished, and that was the spec.....

Even the customer came out (having never seen one before) and said it just looks like............ yes you guessed!

 

Obviously due to the location it is expected to be a large talking point from visitors. Does anyone know of some real good info the customer could put on a board near to the monolith, explaing all the natural benifits of it?

 

Not sure my explaination could be translated well enough to put on a board, but they would like to show the public they are willing to promote this type of environment.

 

Any links or info would be appreciated.

I like the idea of monoliths , but I havn't had a go at coronets or rips or anything yet.

 

I usually recommend a monolith when its full of concrete and wire.....
