The good old days of save up and then buy something are what a lot of us were brought up with. That said I can't think of any successful business that started in the last 15 years that got to where they are today without finance

My Mill was bought Cash, as I'll assume Daves was too......

Yeah paid for upfront Andy, in an ideal world it would have been a fully hydraulic woodmizer but alas the pocket was not that deep. that set up of yours is looking tidy now, those woods look a pleasant place to spend a day as long as you have the loader at hand lol

Yeh, I would have loved a fully hydraulic set-up too. Is never gonna happen. Im lucky I had the cash I did at the time for the Mill I have. The opportunity to spunk this kind of cash on a toy does not come around to often and I doubt it will again. Im hoping the lumber I produce will eventually mean the Mill pays for itself. We'll see. Although the amount of stuff I've now made out of Oak I've milled on the Logosol is building all the time. Over the last few days Ive resawn some 1" Oak Slabs to 8" and 14". Then made a Sandpit for the Kid. One that has a cover that flips out into a set of Benches. Infact I think Ive used the Mill to resaw more than Ive used it to Mill. [emoji3]

Off to a Milling Job on Monday actually. Then have another few days Milling a Tree Surgeon guy I know. In exchange for Stump Grinding.

Ive actually spent the last three days flat out Stump Grinding.
