Yes there is a big difference.

I’m not convinced on Sugiharas , nose sprockets seem a little brittle , I’ve replaced all of mine at least once.

Is that on the big bars? I've had an old ms200 on one and that parted itself on the sprocket, I've another bar here 12" but no saw for it but can't recall how much switched seen.

I have noticed on all bars over 48", they are pretty useless for cross cutting.
The flex is so much at 7' the chain just jumps off.

Surprised that 880 has the balls to drag that, or have you dropped sprocket size and full skip or hyper skip chain?

Runs sweet on Oregon hyperskip.
I do use full comp on the 56" though.

Friend runs a 44" and 60" and they are some heavy duty bars and the weight to prove it.

 

Love working on his woods ported 3120 with unlimited coil and H side carb.
