Fitting a tipper back to crewcab Hilux-anyone done this?

I will take a few snaps of the ones we have here, the rear pivot points and tow bar plates/drawbar can all be combined as a unit which adds a lot of beef to the rear of the chassis, again I will take a few snaps.

Tippers pivot point tied into the drawbar drop plates.

 

 

Frame behind the cab supported on the 50x50 box which is just enough for the tipper chassis to clear the hump in the chassis where it goes over the axle.

 

 

And just enough room on some of them for side lockers.

Mine looks the same as aspens, looks like they have welded it onto the end of the chassis

Just had mine done by MCB body builders based in Tipton. Excellent value for money got mine done for just under 3k with VAT

Thanks very much @aspenarb & @tonytreeIt makes a massive difference seeing what people have when it comes to building something myself! Still trying to source a tipper back off a transit or something like that, I’m hoping the whole build will be well under 1k so I’d much rather make one myself than pay someone!

Keep a look out for an ldv back, sometimes they come up dirt cheap. The cabs used to rot like hell so sometimes you see these about for sale as parts
